Tene investment fund, who specializes in investings in the Kibbutz' sector, purchased 26% of Chromagen's shares owned by Kibbutz Sha'ar Ha'amakim. The 5 million dollars represents a 19.2 million dollars company's value.
Tene investment fund was established in 2005 and has invested in several Kibbutz' industries in the past, like: Netafim and Hanita.
The sum which Tene will invest in Chromagen is aimed for equipment purchasing, production lines improvement and reinforcing the international marketing in Spain and Australia. It is also aimed for establishing partnerships for Chromagen systems' distribution in Italy, the United States and France.
